at 3:31 PM, Sunday February 11, 2007 EST I like all of these changes.
In addition to "6th and 7th starting positions get +1 dice to start. " : I've always thought that when a player (usually the last player in the rotation) loses before EVER getting a turn his/her score shouldn't decrease. I know it happens rarely, but it DOES happen. Since it's not any fault of theirs (faulty strategy or otherwise) that they lost all of their territories before having a turn I think a score of "zero" for that game is in order. |

And when I get a really good starting position a hypothetical gaming chimpanzee couldn't screw up, I should get no points for winning, right? |

Of course you should get points for winning. You got to PLAY the game. I'm speaking about when the player never gets to roll at all. Therefore never "actually" played at all. |

at 6:42 PM, Sunday February 11, 2007 EST You get 1 dice per starting territory plus 9 extra. 6th and 7th get 10 extra.
So you will see 6th and 7th with 14 dice but 4 territories. Others with 14 dice will have 5 territories which is actually a bit of a disadvantage. |

at 10:10 PM, Sunday February 11, 2007 EST Ryan please cut/paste from your posts and make an official 'set of rules'.
- starting position 13/14 for 4/5 territories - when everybody flags what is the winning order. - reinforcement bonus after first round for 6th/7th - away players, when flag goes up, when reinforcement is stopped etc. |
