Some points before I start:
* I have a really decent, stable connection (I pay almost $100/month for it)
* I'm from Eastern Europe => rather high latency. My ping to kdice.com are very stable - I haven't seen anything lower than 199ms and higher than 201ms (as I've said in some other thread).
* I'm using Opera under Ubuntu Linux.
* when I ask others IF they do have this problem, they say "no" (asked several people over the last few games). So I guess it's either something wrong with latency or flash under linux (it kinda stinks and Adobe doesn't seem to care too much).
* I did not have these problems until yesterday. Yesterday I've had some, today I have them every few minutes.

Symptoms:
* I play the game and at some point the page freezes - no movement on the flash side, I can't see status messages, neither chat works.
* when I try to reload/open kdice.com in another tab, I can connect like once every 7 times (estimate)... enough to lose 1 or 2 rounds. Sometimes it takes long minutes b4 I can reconnect. Mostly it loads only top (logo & adsense) and left frames. Sometimes it loads cPanel's (god, I hated that panel :) ) "domain is not set up" message (or something like that), which makes me think it's some more general performance problem (why in the world would webserver send me different page than everyone else gets?).
* I think it happens more often when it's my turn.
* I played 3 games today - it happened to me in all 3 of them every few rounds... I had like 10-15 freezes total.

To sum up - very uncomfortable things happen to me and others claim that they don't experience anything like it.

Everyone: do you (not) have such problem? Ryan: any clues on what's going on?

I have the exact same symptoms.
Using MS XP, IE browser, cable modem.

I've been bumped off i dont know how many games because of it.

One more thing: while I'm having problems with the game, pages that don't have "kdice.com" in the URL (forum, top players, etc. - I think all of them are hooked to aplayr.com) are working perfectly.

Apart from the issues on the server that I'm dealing with now the client side seems smooth.

Make sure you only have one window open to a kdice table. Try clearing your browser cache and restarting your browser.

It could also be due to some work I'm doing on the server, but most likely not.

Hope that helps, let me know what happens.

The Flash game board UI intermittently freezes for me, but the HTML chat window still works. I can still watch the other players play, so the Flash movie is still receiving server updates, but on my turn, none of my dice are clickable.

I was wrong. The Flash movie seems to be completely frozen. I thought I was receiving gameboard UI updates from the other players, but it was the non-Flash "turn" and "away" banners that were actually being updated.
