Is there an IP-check on kdice? We can't play Kdice at school because we all have the same IP, which sucks. Please do something about it :-)

I agree. I had a very fun time playing my brother (we both live at home) in dice wars alot, but now I can't do that because of the IP check. I agree that it prevents cheating, but I would really like a way to play my brother again if possible. Thanks Ryan ;)

Same here. Now my brother and I can't play, together, which is the only reason I played this game in the first place. Please remove this IP block.

Jep. Now I'll have to go and find another game to play, if nothing changes.

Is the IP check system new? My son and I both play and we've not encountered it ... yet. (We haven't played at the same time recently.)

Seems a shame to me not to be able to play at the same time as co-workers, family, schoolmates etc.

Perhaps a better way would be to ban people with the same IP from playing at the same table together?
Or maybe a limit of two connections per IP? This wouldn't stop "cheaters", but would at least keep them to two accounts.

Not really a good solution. At school we play with 5-7 players at te same time.

The ip check is the same as on gpokr where you can play at different tables with the same ip even watch the same table, but you can't both sit at the same table.

I might have to open up some unrated tables which allow duplicate ips... would this work boden?

Better two than one, and it keeps cheating under control. I myself have three computers on my desk, it would be pretty easy to dominate a table when you control three players.

Aren't you supposed to be studying anyway... (said like a dad ;-) )

Oh, cool Ryan, thanks for the info, so it's "perfect" already.

Great work BTW...

Yeah I think the unrated tables are a perfect solution to both problems. Thanks!
