Yes... maybe they could be color coded or something.

Yes... there are already lots of highlights in the game. However, at the beginning I tend to look at my territory counter to see how many places I have left -- and then I look at the map to see where they are. Personally what I'd like is the symbol for that counter be a toggle switch that changes your dice or the ground inside your borders to gold.
