How does the points system work?

I'm very confused. In the 0 table, 1st will get 120points 2nd is 40 points, and in 100 table, 1st will get 212, 2nd is 65points. Is there any clue I can know how many points I will get? So I will know what's worth fighting for.
And I notice that the system gives bonus in every game, won't there be an inflation or something, how the system get these points back? |

at 4:30 AM, Friday July 12, 2013 EDT For 0 and 100 tables, you can indeed tell in advance how much points 1st to 7th will give you. The key is to avoid 6 and 7 since those are the only positions where you will lose relatively a lot.
Each game, there are 70 bonus points injected in the system. That makes it easier to climb the ranks. Once you get to 500 tables, there will be extra points awarded for dominance (basically how big you are, averaged over time). From then on, it will be harder to predict how much you will lose or gain. You will have to learn how to maximise your winnings and limit your losses in the games with dom points. |
