Team games: I thought if someone disagreed it wasn't allowed? Jurgen?

I went to sit at a table, they said team game, I said if one person doesn't agree then the rest can't. ovbogaert said the previous game when someone disagreed they 6v1'd him.
We played, I flagged ovbogaert and he made me sixth (from a clear 3rd) because I disagreed with team game. When it ended, this was the chat re: the following game. CuteKittens: TEAM GAME: FIRST 3 VS LAST 4 ovbogaert: sure ovbogaert: annd if thrill sits in CuteKittens: kk ovbogaert: 6v1 :) Even when I said the penalty for teaming against one person who doesn't want to play a team game is banning, ovbogaert killed me and protected Soromon's 1 land (who was supposedly on my team, which i didn't want). ovbogaert was the protagonist the whole time, and the one who killed me for not playing. What's more - I didn't have a chance to object and sit out pre game. I came to the table, Soromon was waiting for teal, i sat brown and he spammed TEAM GAME and then sat. I said if I don't want team games you guys can't, and that's when ovbogaert said the last game they just 6v1 killed the guy who objected. Jurgens blog re: team games, which i quoted, suggests he should be banned. The fact he did it to someone the game before, the game I was in, and threatened to do it the following game if I sat demonstrates a disregard for pga rules. http://www.kdice.com/blog/90 |

I really like team games and I want them to be possible on KDice. Only we're making an exception to allow them when EVERYONE agrees. It would really be of no issue if Ryan created a team game mode with 6 seats and team payouts or whatever. But that's not the case so I want everyone to know the team rules beforehand and to agree to them beforehand. It's usally a newb that gets screwed this way but Thrill has the right to oppose or complain just as much. And even though I completely believe his story, there's no hard evidence. So if you wanted a ban now, a simple and clear screenshot would have done it. On the other hand, this needs a strong message so I will make sure he understands that the next time someone reports him with a screenshot or I see it myself, the account will be banned for at least a month. |

I bet he's being paid by Google to run an experiment to see how long the site will last without his interference other than to reset the boards once a month or to fix MAJOR exploits that could kill the game in a month. |

I despise team games forced into the mechanics of kdice as it currently stands. Different mechanics and they could be tons of fun. Uneven number of lands, or someone being "neutral" whatever you do it gets dumb. Again though, wasn't there and I don't take peoples words for anything without some shots of the game. |

We (5 of us) agreed on a team game. Thrill sat in and didn't want the team game, along with someone else who hadn't read chat. So that game we didn't play in teams. BEFORE the next game, we were 6 who agreed on team game, Thrill still didn't, so I asked him not to sit in and play on another table. BTW: Killing Thrill wasn't because of the team game, but do you have to accept every flag? If someone stabs or farms you, aren't you allowed to reject his flag? |

Sam is right (Would have to see it to action on it or at least have some screen shots that were telling.) But you know that there will be no warnings for you ovbogaert if you force someone to play a team game or kill him if he or she refuses. I also strongly advise that the players who want to play a team game go to another table themselves when someone at the table sits and objects to a team game. What will you do if he remains seated and the game starts? You will be forced to play a normal game. That's why I strongly suggest you guys all go to another table and make it clear to new players that you want a team game. If the player(s) that veto'ed the team game on the previous table come to your new table and sit an still refuse to play a team game, ONLY THEN can you argue that you guys have the right to kick him off the new table. The safest way to start a team game will always be to find 7 players first. |
