Flagging enhancement - let winner leave

Hi. Don't you find it boring when everyone flagged to you and you have to stick around because they are fighting for 2nd or 3rd?

I would like to suggest that when all but one players are flagged, he should automatically win and be removed from the game.

Often people will not flag, because their current position is lower than what they're aiming for. That's why I think pressing a "flag" button should downflag you by one position.

I.e. pressing flag once will put a 2nd flag, pressing again will change the flag to 3rd, and so on.

So in my mind the game would be played like this: the dominating player forces everyone to flag 2nd, he takes his points and leaves, the rest keep fighting until the 2nd player forces the rest to flag 3rd, and so on.

This system prevents deadlocks, because you can't finish higher than what your flag says. It also prevents from keeping someone a hostage and stripping off his dom before you kill him.

I really like your idea, shame the owner hasnt implemented any serious changes in more than 2 years. I think refining this would be awesome, you would stop stabbing as well.

basicly your idea is ok under the assumption that the winner has no intention to take more dom (=points) after the fighting is done or such.
i think that assumption is not correct in many cases (maybe even at most of the cases)

@barmat: Thank you.

@savif: In a 500-table game the player in 1st usually has ~650 points in first rounds and with luck he may raise it to ~750. This usually means interfering with other player's game, helping someone get a better position, abusing their power.

i dissagree
sometimes when fighting are done there are lands which becomes grey. also sometimes the 1st player accepts flags under an assumption of taking dom later in order NOT to interfere the game.
anyway, maybe such an option should be available if the player in 1st (and later the player in 2nd etc.) wants to use it but not automaticly.

You used to be able to flag out at anytime during the game for the position you were in at that moment.

you could never flag out when in first.

How can the first be stabbed then?

No das? I was almost sure there was a one or two month stretch where you could flag out at anytime for the position you were in. Was it only for 2nd through 7th?

iirc, when you flagged you took the dom and the lowest spot available. but i could be wrong
