Haai everybody...
Just to start a discussion so to know which definition is the most right: "What does it mean when you 'flag' someone?" Answer 1: "It just means you won't attack that someone." Answer 2: "it means you won't attack that someone AND will end up a lower place then that someone." example: 1. Brown flagged blue early in the game. 2. If he won't have done that he would be dead somewhat later by a kill of blue. (this can be an important issue in discussion) 3. Later in game Blue is almost killed by Yellow, in the meantime Brown has become stronger by not being killed by blue. If answer to upper question is number 1, yellow can just kill blue and brown can still try to kill some others, even yellow and so win the game while he flaged someone. If answer to upper question is number 2 brown has to flag out before yellow kills blue. Other example: 1. Brown flaged blue 2. Later only blue, yellow and brown are in game and blue flags yellow. with answer 1: brown can still try to fight yellow. With answer 2: its the end of the game: Yell=1, blue=2 and brown=3 Hope to have an answer soon, but I guess it will need a discussion first :-)... Greetz, Pierke |

at 4:20 AM, Wednesday April 4, 2012 EDT When weak people (I could take em out) flag me i expect them to take a position below me. Mainly early flags.
In some cases i will fight 1/3 etc.. and let flagged person take 2 if they were strong when they flagged. Personally i think if you flag a colour you should always take postion below the colour you flaged. flag a position if you want that position. Its as simple as that! |

If a flag is accepted you should form a counter immediately. That is all. |

at 12:20 PM, Wednesday April 4, 2012 EDT There is no meaning to a "v-flag" other than what the table tries to make it mean, you are under no obligation to accept others views on what they mean as long as you are prepared to accept the consequences. I view and use "v-flags" different depending on context and refuse to give or accept a rigid definition or convention to an act that has no mechanical context or enforcement in the actual game.
