I'm a new player and I don't fully understand the point system.
First of all, is there an article that I can read that explains the point system, the level system, the monthly rewards, etc.? I assume if I finish high enough on the monthly ladder, I get some sort of trophy or something. How many people receive monthly rewards? At the end of February, I had roughly 3000 points. A few hours before month end, I was tempted to go play the 2000 tables and see if I could get lucky, but I also didn't want to finish the month with no points. Is there any advantage to finishing the month with a few thousand points? Is there any disadvantage of finishing with no points? Should I have just tried to run up a big score and improve my position dramatically? Any information is very much appreciated. I just want to better understand the goals of the game (outside of having fun). Thanks! |

at 3:31 PM, Thursday March 1, 2012 EST rank 100 to 26 get white trophies, rank 100-51 get 0 or 100 point maps named for them(as well as tourney winners and random shit like that) rank 50-26 get a 500 map named for them, rank 25 to rank 4 get a blue trophy and a 2k table named for them, rank 3 = bronze trophy, rank 2 = silver, rank 1 = DJ colored. you can easily see your own rank pretty much anyone provided you have eyes and just find your way to the leaderboard to check on the progress of others. top 100 is usually like 10-13k points or something
