valentines is a fucked holiday. for girls that are single its supposed to lower their self esteem (dont get me wrong i approve), for people in relationships they fall into one of two camps: theyre either a new couple in which case valentines is just an excuse for them to do more of the couple shit they already do and they don't really need it, or theyre in an old relationship and valentines day is just a reminder of how much they don't like each other. the only people that enjoy valentines day don't need it and every dude is obligated to spend money on someone who isn't them (or for you narcissists called parents, someone who isn't your legacy).
