My Retirement from Kdice

Since it's only a few days until I claim the TAZD* yearly crown, I figured I'd give my acceptance speech now.
I've played this damned game for far too many years. Starting off I bitched and whined about all the cheaters, the pga's, the multi-accounters, etc. Eventually I stopped caring so much and focused on being the biggest dick I could be, focused solely on my own advancement in a match, and incorporated backstabs into my strategy. The game became a lot more fun when I cared less about the results. Throughout that time I never got involved with PGA or multi-accounting, as I viewed that as for the weak. I prefer my victories to be based on my own skill at manipulating others at the table, not because I have a three-person team that can't lose as soon as the match begins. I enjoyed hearing all the prejudices people from outside the US have towards people from my country, was quite hilarious (and even sometimes true!) What I'm really trying to say is: I'm better than you, stick to minesweeper n00bs and uninstall ur game. Thank you for reading and enjoy the future of kdice without my dominance. |

at 1:42 PM, Thursday December 29, 2011 EST It's too bad you are leaving without grasping the intricacies of the top tables.
You may have mastered the TAZD* system; but you are leaving before learning to master the higher level tables. I can tell you with first hand experience that PGA and multi-accounts is not necessary to do well at the higher tables. It is unfortunate that you are leaving without bringing your strategy to the more competitive tables; as I find your style of play to be an added challenge to the game. In someways; KDice is more complex of a game then poker is. KDice requires you to factor in other people's play in order to win. Poker on the other hand can be played without needing to worry about how much you piss off other people. In fact; pissing off other people is almost an advantage in poker. It is unfortunate that you were unable to grasp that part of the game; but good luck with whatever you end up doing nonetheless. |

at 1:47 PM, Thursday December 29, 2011 EST Didn't mean to imply that poker doesn't require you to know your opponents play; of course it does. What I meant to say was poker doesn't require you to have social skills; KDice does.
Poker requires extreme introverted behaviors. KDice makes use of introverted behaviors very much like poker; but requires extroverted behavior to master. I believe you are leaving with only half the required skills to truly have mastered the game. |
