Hi,
i got banned from Bone-Roller for PGA. It's 6 month ago and here i'm back. You can ban me again or just let me play. It's your decision. But before i have to say something what i want to say since i play KDice. KDice is an awesome game, there is not much to improve.. Except the management and development. You have some admins, ok.. But there is to many work to handle for that amount of admins. On every 2nd match, there breaks out a big discussion, insults everywhere and some people just fuck off the whole game. Trust me i know what i say, because i already did the same crap. I got banned for a single match where i played a bit unfair, i got mad because of that and created a new account just to suck around and be a dickhead. Strangely there was no admin around and nobody blocked me, i played not a single fair match and if that account would be banned too, i would have the opportunity to just create a new account and start the same shit over and over again. I'm a programmer too (maybe you know the KDice Tournament Payout Calculator), i know what is possible, and there are so many ways to find bad players, you can check the IP-Adress, create cookies etc. to find multiaccounts or accountsharings, you can use databases to stop the insults, you can add a replay function to see a replay of the matches with chatlogger what makes it possible to bust all the fake-reviews. If this were my game, i would use so many energy to improve the whole community, but it's not. It's your job, you are the developer, you have to ban all these idiots, ok you'll lose like 20% of your players, but wake up dude, you're already losing them because you don't do anything. Every player you don't ban scare off the players who maybe wants to support this community. There are many people who loves this game and want to be a part of it, you can use it and get more admins who do the work for you - for free, all you need to do is to pick one as a headadmin (maybe jurgen), he can do the whole work, adding admins, watch what they do. They take a look at the reviews, replays and chatlogs etc. and ban all the people who are not welcome here. I had the same problem with my own community, we banned like 25% of all our players, but now there are no flamers anymore, it growes more and more, your players are your capital, you have to keep them, if there are flamer all the time, someday they'll lose their pleasure and nobody tells his friends about your game. You earn money with it, you can't just lay back and watch your pocket grow, in addition you'll get more money if you stop that people. I mean not many people want to pay for a site where you get flamed. I hope you read it and think about it, because i know, that you know, that i am right. Sincerely It's me! |

I'm thinking this might be a mistake (posting this here of all places..but) Nonetheless, I'm currently working on the early stages of developing a new Industrial product to help facilitate communications in a field I've roughly 25 years experience in. The concept essentially consists of two components more or less already in existence ... ie: A network of wireless terminals (keyboards - screens etc.)... modified making it compatible to this particular environment not so friendly to delicate electronics and the associated software designed specifically for this particular function and industry.... While i have a well rounded understanding of how things work, even somewhat of a background in electronics I hardly qualify as computer geek or hardware specialist which necessitates I solicit the skills of others who are. The issues of protecting new innovation even at the conceptual stage while in progress remains a concern as very little of that has been implemented at this time so bear in mind how much I'd be willing to communicate or expose (at least at the onset) could make things prohibitive initially. The whole idea came about one day thinking, man, this is such a pain in the ass. Later on that night the whole concept kinda just exploded in my mind. In short, the concept merely takes hardware which already exists and an operating system which already exists and customizing them both (as well as developing a few apps ) to suit this particular need/area. I've sought feedback with those intimately familiar with the Industry whom i trust and encountered the same opinion every time. Should this be developed it could and in all probability "would" revolutionize this particular aspect of the industry in terms of efficiency and subsequently bring forth significant savings in an area which by it's nature is faced significant expenditures locally and globally. Having come across this thread, thought I'd put this out there. Bear in mind though I truly know nothing about any of you fucks, so yea, establishing any form of communication might present something of a problem, assuming that any of you would be interested anyways.. so, there it is. |
