Oh and I wasn't derailing this into a political discussion I was just observing that there might indeed be some truth to the idea that stereotypically oconservatives don't understand tongue in cheek humor. I was specifically referring to a study of Colbert viewers that noted a majority of conservatives that watched the show thought Colbert was actually conservative.
