Decent article and good ideas. I never followed her at all because i don't see her political career moving past the pages of People magazine, but there are some comments on the authors blog that say that these ideas have consistently been her platform. It's just a shock that NYT published this.

I fucking hope not. Not that I don't like Palin, but I think if she's on the ticket it instantly becomes un-electable...

i agree. im just pointing out what i see. i think she knows she cant get the pres nomination (why she hasnt/wont announce), but shes too much of a media whore to stay out of this completely. a year out is a great time to start sneaking into the public eye in a less outrageous manner than in the past. not-so-quietly reminding the party that she still does have a considerable fan/voter base.

I have always respected her desire to be a advocate for the average Joe, I just wish she would realize that a significant number of the average Joe's aren't quite the religious zealots she is.
