If 2 players flag 3 for example, and have the same amount of lands, how is it decided who wins 2/3?
I just was in a game where I clearly had way more dom then the other guy who flagged 3. I also had more dice, and we had the same land. How does this work? |

I suspect chloe might know... She knows everything. |

then that's just stupid |

at 6:50 PM, Tuesday September 6, 2011 EDT assuming you got third- it probably is moves (based on your experience) which i agree is stupid. imo it should be dice. but this is why you attack like crazy the round before that so you have more land than the other guy :)

at 7:14 PM, Tuesday September 6, 2011 EDT we should try that, set up a 0 table get everyone to flag for 2 but leave them with one land then have the big person in first lag out and see what order they finish.

at 7:54 PM, Tuesday September 6, 2011 EDT same thing happened in gpokr btw. in a tourney once, i was the 2nd shortest stack, and top 3 paid out. short stack went allin preflop, largest stack went allin behind him, and i was looking at QQ. thought fuck it, if largest stack beats me, so be it, but im way ahead of the short stack range, so at worst i get eliminated but still finish ahead of him since im going into this hand with the largest stack. (its a standard tourney rule in all casinos, online and off, that if 2 people get eliminated in same hand, whoever had the larger stack going in places higher than the person who had the shorter stack). anyways, largest stack flipped over AK, short stack flipped over 88. largest stack spiked a king, no 8s or Qs though, so i beat the short stack. yay, 3rd place and a payout for me!
nope. short stack magically got the 3rd place payout, and i was left with $0 for 4th. wtf. |
