No keepers in the settings currently.

we still need to decide on keepers... id rather do 2 than 1. thoughts?

I'd actually rather do more than that; a keeper league with only one or two doesn't actually seem like a keeper league to me.

However, I come from a background of six-eight player keeper leagues.

That being said, I'm fine with whatever. We're all abiding by the same rules either way.

1>2 in my experience - and while I'm happy to start the keepers with our last year's teams, it's not exactly the fair way to do it...

would make more sense to draft this year, knowing that we're installing keepers for subsequent seasons.

I agree that it doesn't seem right to keep from last year.

Since this is more of a token keep setup, I agree that 1>2.

definitely no keepers from last year, since the draft wouldve gone totally differently.

coworker jim had a good system for determining keeper value in an auction league. you pay whatever he was valued at the previous year (espn keeps these lists, so we can refer back to them in subsequent year). that way the keeper is only maintains his value for as long as he is on the uphill climb of his career.

also, i just sent out a league email from espn, please respond to me (or to notworthjoestime @ hotmail, whatever) with your email address so i can set up a meetingwizard page to figure out what the best time for us is to draft.

the other keeper leagues im in both do 3 keepers. i prefer the more the merrier, but as with yall, will follow the league vote.

But none of us will never get to have Visanthe if we do more than 1 keeper.

just to be clear, the keeper doesnt start until next year. this year we redraft everyone, including visanthe, but we draft with the expectation that we can keep players if we want to. instead of last year, where everyone drafted as though you couldnt keep players.

i realize you were probably being sarcastic, but want to clarify just in case someone else misunderstands...

So when's the draft....again?
