Hello,
i know that most people here are familiar with that topic and have already been the target of an angry little boy`s revenge,who didn`t like that u attacked him and not the green player next to u or who didn`t like the appropriate negativ review u gave him and posts shit on your reviews as a payback. This post now has two functions. First of all i want to report a player who does it in on a grand scale. Normally I don`t bother u mods with things like that, because i know u have a lot to do.But as i said "akca03" puts shit on people`s page massivly, often as an answer for a bad review he got.Therefore he often uses the line "BACKSTABBER!DON`T TRUST HIM! And here is the prove: gen.sherman gave akca03 a bad review at July 31,2011. Therefore he got a review with the line described above at August5,2011 Pooch723 gave akca03 a bad review at July 24,2011. Therefore he got a review with the typical line at August5,2011. I gave him a review at August 5th and got my "answer" at August 6th. To validate this also read the reviews "Mrs.M" and "Carl Ulinski" gave him. Pls delete the wrong reviews and take care of him. Secondly to add a productive side to this post u can discuss possible solutions here. I don`t know much capacity u mods have to pick these cases up ,but to minimize at least the "direct payback" as a revenge for a review u could establish a time detector on review pages additional to the detector of the date so that it`s possible to see if a player writes "Baskstabber" for example just to damage a player, whom he got a bad review from. cheers Secret |

at 11:58 AM, Saturday August 6, 2011 EDT reviews can't be deleted (except by ryan?); they can be changed by the person who posted them, but that's all. almost no one reads reviews and most who do take them with a grain of salt. it's not that big a deal.

at 1:10 PM, Saturday August 6, 2011 EDT well, the reviews are nevertheless the only indicator for a player to evalualte an unknown player.It`s true that they are often mis-used by people who are annoyed and want to get rid of there anger through calling the other player a "fuckhead" or something. But it`s one thing to use these expression to insult someone in order to get the anger away, although it`s primitive and should not be tolerated as well(but i know this is utopic),but another thing to spread lies systematically over and over aigain for every bad review that one have got,especially in terms of calling one a backstabber.
I don`t know about other players, but I use a look on the reviews, when i`m in first for example and people around me flagged to see who I can trust to not get backstabbed. Of course I don`t care for individual ones too much ,because it`s unfortunately true that people use it more to complain about whatsoever.But if a player has his review full of terms like "Backstabber" I don`t take his flag in some cases or force him to put a real flag up.The other way around if a player has a lot of good reviews as well i know i can trust him most often and chill. Anyway if u don`t care for things like that and tolerate these cases of misuse u can directly deactivate the review function as it is obviously useless then.But how do u want to get aware of people,who cheat and just play to fuck people up then?Just think about it.I see that u can`t detect every little case or complain. But if a player puts systematically lied reviews in terms of backstabbing on every ones page,who annoyed him through giving him an appropriate bad review or whatsoever it should have consequences.And akca03 does this as the given evidence shows. |
