Your idea for guidelines is not too bad but actually we should have 0 tolerance on trolling I think.

but how to set rules? It's going to be as difficult as Sam's good effort to try and define OTF and PGA in his advisor blog. Once you start writing examples or guidelines, you quickly see how many possibilities and circumstances are thinkable.

You can never come up with a list of things that will include ALL bannable things.

also, if I say, well some harmless or fun trolling is ok (with example A an B, etc), people will start using A and B to the max, trying to see how far they can push this accepted trolling technique.

It's the same for the current rule on sharing. I actually think that some account sharing wouldn't hurt the competition and that it has a big fun factor. However, where do you draw the line and people will always try and disguise sharing with bad intentions as a harmless or first time share. So that's why the no sharing at all HAD to be chosen. It's black and white with no or very little grey.

I fear the same will be needed for trolling if we want a chance of getting rid of it.

This should maybe be discussed amongst mods but I think mods on xsketch or gpoker would immediately say no trolling is allowed.

Trolling shouldn't be allowed period. However many people do it constantly with the promotion of the mods. This was the reason I trolled the mods and other trolls in the site.

I think the mods think that if you troll someone then you will drive them away or out of the forums. It works pretty well until you encounter someone with the strength and fortitude like I have. Then it just makes them look like complete ass's.

You guys are completely ridiculous in your actions and you should apologize to the community and drop it.

Will you actually do this? Probably not because you are too concerned about defending yourself from truth and justice to actually care about the community as a whole.
