reviews aren't changeable or editable except by the person that posted them, and one post doesn't constitute harassment. It's good that you posted though- likely a closer eye will be kept on this person in the future.

ryan can edit it and has for a few players but good luck getting in contact with him.

I will ban on people making up fake accusations and this one goes pretty far. It's sick but I can't ban the first time maybe. I Could check the review list but I refuse to go through 1000s of reviews to see if he does that more. I would NEED a search function for that to be efficient.

But I will post on his wall that he accuses people of sharing pedophile pictures.

on second thought, I changed my strategy a bit, I wrote this on his reviews:


triangle_88: This is a Moderator warning you to stop accusing people of sharing pedophile pictures. Please behave or you will get banned. Also, please undo the sick review you left for the player "lemonion" by giving him an empty new one or I might post this message on your public wall (which is undeletable and for everyone to read).

I just got a paedophile accusatory review from Tom_Sawyer:

"Posted links of 6 year old nude boys on chat. Totally pedophile.
Tom_Sawyer on Friday July 8, 2011"

And btw jurgen, since you are active atm as a mod: can u post somewhat like a doctrine to know what are the grounds youd ban for?
I get the ban for Yodel's abusive chat, but where are you drawing the line between meh, and im gonna ban him?

as to deathtoavatar's good question:

I've tried explaining in numerous thread how I look at cases and why I decided it was time to ban. But there are so many differences in each case, it would be hard to define everything crystal clear in a "rulebook".

It's actually more like Ryan's job to set out the ground rules. We as mods try to do our best in the spirit of what Ryan would have in mind I think.

I could try and put my own guidelines on paper one day but it's so hard to cover every possible aspect of bannable things.

BR tried it once and he had a good approach actually when he wrote his guidelines. Nothing about a set of listed things is exclusive. Something that you know will fall in the same category will get you the same ban.
