Job report was released today. Unemployment is now up to 9.2; with no sign of it coming down.
"The government revised April and May payrolls to show 44,000 fewer jobs created than previously reported." http://www.cnbc.com/id/43682730 In other news... Obama canceled his vacation to Montana; and plans to address the nation about jobs at LIVE as we speak. (I'm listening...) DowJones took a 100 point dive this morning on the news. Looks like investors don't like the smell of this sh*t sandwich. |

at 10:05 AM, Friday July 8, 2011 EDT Btw; BO; why don't you take the time to respond to my numerous attempts to get you to explain how the 'stimulus' has worked.
Quantitative easing does not work. Over $278k spent per job created (or saved; lol). Complete and utter failure; flushing money down the toilet. |

at 10:18 AM, Friday July 8, 2011 EDT I cranked up my supercharged, 250hp Hewlitt-Packard calculator and figured out that if you multiply the average weekly wage from the June 30 report to get the average yearly wage (about 48k) and divide into 278k, you get a jobs multiplier of 5.73. That is the number of jobs created or saved should by 5.73 times bigger than the number reported if the average salary of a job created or saved is the same as the national average. So is this multiplier real?
