Please remove chat so people cant flag one person and have to fight or raise a proper flag. So many people are flagging by round 5 it's destroying games.

at 5:07 PM, Saturday July 2, 2011 EDT chat is part of the game, this is not a game against bots but versus humans
The idea of chat free games has been raised before, one step further is chat free + cloacked identities. The creator of this site has not provided us those chat free tables yet so I can advise you to chat during games or you will get killed more often. |

but even i think the early vflags are out of control. ive suggested it before, and will do so again: get rid of chat for first 3 rounds. |

at 10:03 AM, Monday July 4, 2011 EDT come to think of it , it would get rid of most early vflags
but probably people will find a way of signaling it, maybe by sitting out + sitting in 3 times in a row or something. It still would be harder to ruin games though, so if enough people support it, I could suggest it to Ryan. How about giving the choice? a set of no early chat tables (clearly marked) and the normal ones? |

at 2:27 PM, Monday July 4, 2011 EDT any system can be turned into an ideal place for pga, so no point for you either.
The only system that would reduce pga chances a bit would be a tourney type of start of games. 21 or 28 people need to join. It starts when all seats are filled and people get randomly distributed over 3 or 4 tables. Maybe start with less people each table if it takes too long to fill all seats before a set amont of time). if A and B intend to pga, 75% of the time, they won't be on the same table. This system isn't practical in the current state of the site. Not enough players are around to fill enough tables in time. You can't ask people to wait longer than 10 minutes for a game to start. You could overcome this by only having 0, 500 ish and 2000 ish table limits + lower max points for each limit so that all 3 types of tables get roughly the same amount of players. This system will probably lead to the formation of bigger "gangs" who will sit 5 or more so odds are good so that everybody has at least one pga buddy on his table. |
