First he has to pick a yellow ball and draws the worst team from the previous regular competition. Kinda awkward that he started chearing for that outcome when he supposedly didn't know which other team these guys were gonna face. So then he just pick his own team out of the bowl with the green balls. Major success! and the good thing is no one noticed. |

Incredibly, the Spanish FA asked Pablo Cordoba, president of one of the competing teams, Alcobendas Sport, to pull the balls out the hat. Cordoba gets to the stage looking a little too chuffed with himself and after seemingly being shown which ball to pick up, is hugely excited when he hears that Arandina have been pulled out the hat first. Quite why Cordoba is so happy when he doesn’t even know who their opponents will be simply confirms this is a fixed draw. Lo and behold, following yet more sneaky chuckling, Alcobendas are pulled out to play Arandina and Cordoba looks like the cat with all the cream. Pablo Cordoba has denied any accusations of wrong doing, despite it being painfully obvious: “People are free from suspicion, but I assure you we have not faked anything. I had a desire and a feeling, nothing more. Our desire was to play against Arandina are close by.” Incredibly, the president of Arandina has also absolved Cordoba and Alcobendas of any blame.
