4chan is a series of forums about different kinds of subjects.. They're probably most famous for /b/ (home of the /b/tards) in which you can usually find anything from child pornography, to graphic injuries and gore, to ways to steal free game consoles (fake coupons) to just about anything else that the dregs of the internet can think up. I suggest you peruse 4chan with great trepidation.

pretty much what kehoe said. If you did drawball, i'm pretty sure 4chan was doing the frog. Aside from the rickroll, pedobear, lolcats, and chocolate rain all gained popularity because of 4chan. Pretty much 4chan is internet forums full of insane people.

A community of creeps, geeks and pedophiles competing on who is creepiest, geekiest or the most pedophiliest.

i lold. from my vicarious experience i can tell you 4chan is a slippery slope. one minute you'll be laughing at memes the next you'll be socially awkward and looking at cartoon porn.

also 4chan is like the base for anonymous which are basically internet vigilantes (helped wikileaks, hit westboro baptist, hit scientology)

zomg i just went there for the first time and in the first thread i loaded (video games) the first poster had a av of a guy buttfucking some guy. that didnt take long for me to close the site and get fired from work

If you think kdice takes up too much of your time then I'd avoid 4chan like the plague.
