Who ya got?
I'm thinking Heat in 7, I just don't think the Mavs can play enough defense to handle the Heat starters, but the Mavs have a considerable edge on bench play. Should be a good series. |

i really hope the mavs win, but i dont think dirks desire can compete with the james/wade desire. but i can still hope. |

Shawn Marion will not be able to handle Lebron and D Wade will carve up Jason Terry/JJ Berea/Jason Kidd. Lebron could cover Dirk, but it doesn't really matter. Dirk can score on whoever. The fate of Dallas rests with their benchplay + Dirk's hot shooting. If both are on, the Mavs should win the title. If either falter the Heat could run away with some games. |

at 10:47 AM, Tuesday May 31, 2011 EDT espn says that apparently deshawn stevenson limited wade to 2 points in 30 minutes of play in regular season, compared to (i think) 42 points in 50 minutes against everyone else they had. could be an anomaly, but my guess is the mavs at least test him out.

at 11:21 AM, Tuesday May 31, 2011 EDT They really need to make the court bigger, players are too big and too fast now. There just isn't enough space on the court for player movement in the NBA, this leaves the officials put in the position to be calling too many fouls for contact. I don't want jungle ball by any means but the officiating in the NBA is seriously the most annoying of any of the major sports in the US.

at 11:53 AM, Tuesday May 31, 2011 EDT Im ok with Stevenson being on the court as long as his roll on offense is 'stand in the corner, you are not allowed to shoot the ball or be in possession of the ball for more than 2 seconds'
