dc- The monthly TAZD* and ASR Competitions are among the top 100. ASR is the Alternative Skill Ranking, and is based on your table points and percentage profile. Your percentage profile makes up the multiplier (ASRm). Lots of firsts seconds and thirds and few sixths and sevenths get you a better multiplier. Then, your table points get multiplied by the ASRm. There's a small bonus for number of games played. Add those, and that's your ASR. The TAZD* is an improved version of the TAZD. It measures your percentage profile against the average percentage profile of the top 1000 players with 0 points (from a few months ago- skrum remakes the data set whenever there's a scoring change). Again, lots of firsts and few sevenths is good. Having too many sevenths counts against you. There's an additional multiplier based on the number of games you play (up to 300). The TAZD* is independent of your points. |
