About half a million Japanese who survived have lost their homes (over 70000 houses destroyed) from the Earthquake and Tsunami floods, we saw the terrible pictures evreyday 24 hours...
Now there is a severe winter and shortage of supplies in the area plus the nuclear threat, but esp. drinking water, food, heating etc. are already undersupplied In Japan people use electricity and gas for heating both being undersupplied due to the devasted infrastructure. To avoid more casualties, a group of people (private) from Japan and Germany have tried to find a solution and created this website where peopel can offer their help by supplying safe living space, worldwide... If you have plenty of room, please help. I heard from this wonderful idea on the news today, unfortunately also was reported that flights out from Japan cost 3-4 times as much as usual nowadays ( 4.000 - 20.000 €) Still it`s good idea... http://www.openyourheartopenyourhome.com/part/This_Website_will_soon_be_online.html |
