The Lakers needed help and didn't go get any.
The Magic are still trying to jell as a team. The Bulls are clicking on all cylinders and will be better when Noah returns. Could they be the best in the East? The Heat have matchup trouble with the better teams in the league, but Lebron+Wade might be enough to carry them. The Knicks are at least 2 players away from being good enough to contend for a title. Oklahoma City still needs help. The Celtics got a perimeter defender, but lost one of their only semi-healthy inside prescences. If the O'neals (Shaq and Jermaine) can somehow get healthy, they are the odds-on favorite. If not, this team will not be able to compete with Miami or Chicago. |

at 10:37 AM, Tuesday March 1, 2011 EST Das, you have to remember, I'm not used to being optomistic about baseball.
Besides, my C's are still more competitive than my O's. So it's basketball season till at least late May! |

Pie would be pretty good trade bait. |

at 11:36 AM, Tuesday March 1, 2011 EST since all the number 1 teams enjoy losing, do we think this year's Tournament will have a ridiculously random Final Four?
IMO, yes |
