-BR "Sharing is not allowed because it can be used to cheat" -Thrax I haven't cheated and I haven't shared Boner Oiler. Do you know why you're not allowed to speed? Well besides being a convenient way for cops to fund raise it's also a means by which society keeps you safe. Do you know why cops let you off for speeding during emergencies? Because they understand the underlying law is in place to keep you safe, not to stop you from getting your wife to the hospital. Thraxle will like this one: do you know why you're not allowed to kill people? Because it's fucked up and people don't like being murdered. Do you know why you're allowed to kill someone in self defense? Because the underlying reason for the law is to keep you safe, not to make it easy for crazy people to kill you. So what the fuck am I banned for? Furthermore I wouldn't even played this shitty account if Veta wasn't banned. By the way Veta wasn't banned for cheating either, it was banned for giving Chase the login info in chat and Thraxle was lurking anyway so it wasn't even ever shared. So why am I banned but people that post how to hack the website and get caught using it are allowed to be unbanned? Why the fuck are mods allowed to be so temperamental and clearly use favoritism in their deliberation. People that are friends with the mods and play on a regular basis can cheat and "hard otf" as much as they want. But because I don't play regularly and I don't care to suck up to the mods I get banned for as much as revolting when SOMEONE ELSE asks me to. This is ridiculous and if it doesn't change you're going to kill the site. Congratulations. |

Also if that bcmatt account was banned because of sharing information about how to hack, it also seems outrageous that it would randomly get unbanned for no reason.

So it really doesn't matter whether you cheated on BO or not. You admitted to breaking the rules with another alt and you should realize that you had no wiggle room.

No. However, I support the actions of my fellow mods. You enjoy pushing the limits of what you can get away with, Veta. Unfortunately, pushing the limits leads to catastrophic crashes. I also find it entertaining that whenever a habitual kriminal gets busted, they always claim that enforcement of the rules is "going to kill the site". As I said, your tears are quite tasty. Also Veta does make a pretty solid point... for example ( sorry Jona ) But December I believe it was where Jona hardcore cheated and whatnot... and got alpha banned... I recall him being able to play on his other alts and whatever during that time. Jona's unbanned and he admitted to cheating sharing accounts blah, blah, fucking blah... and look he's unbanned. I fail to see what he did wrong here... flagging out at a 5k, I would be happy to be playing that table and instantly not be getting seventh... Is it funneling... No because BO isn't even guaranteed 1st place anyway. The ban seems like personal attack more then anything ( Veta you should suck up more to the mods ) |

Mods are doing a better job at pointing their fingers and saying stop! But in the end, the mods weak collective actions (as perceived by the greater k-community) appear to be that of gender challenged English bobbies swatting at heavily armed drug cartels with dildos in lieu of nightsticks. |

And I'd appreciate that a mod doesn't come in here with some half-thought out justification like "funneling". I shared an account with Chase. Since I could only play 5k and I could only play at that time of the day, I called Chase and asked him to play. Chase didn't have time to play, so he signed in to my/his shared account, sat, and flagged out. If this is funneling then why isn't someone banned whenever they leave a tournament before they lose? Does that not undermine the competition of the game? Does it matter if it's the Grand Finale or the 100 Nightly? Why is it not considered funneling when this is done on 500s as opposed to 5000s by some mods? This is completely arbitrary and nowhere is it stated that this is not allowed. Furthermore I never heard of Shevar and Travis' encounter on this subject. If I did I would have had a few questions for Shevar. Why do the moderators here openly show favoritism to some people by lifting some permanent bans and refusing to lift others? Why are the mods so temperamental in their arbitration? |
