I have just had a game in a 500 table and been screwed over by the flagging system. What I want to know is if I did or did not get screwed over.
Brown flagged me when I could of easily wiped him out, but I accepted his flag and left my 8 stack tooked away behind him. Brown and Teal then both outgrown me and started fighting each other. With Brown only flagged to me obviously. Brown then won the fight with Teal flagging Brown. I ended up 3rd with Brown finishing above me and Teal taking second. What I wanted Brown to do was say to Teal that I am first and Teal is last(3rd). However Brown accepts the flag and then Teal starts attacking me, wiping me out easily and quickly. I asked Brown to stop this and he said no as stating I accepted his flag so he will accept Teals flag. In my opinion Brown should of gave me 1st because I could of wiped him out. Brown just sat and watched Teal kill me. Am I wrong to be annoyed with Brown for letting this happen? As I saved Brown, should he have saved me? Am I in the wrong here? Opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Danny87 |

at 6:12 PM, Thursday February 24, 2011 EST you should have made sure both players had there flags up for 2nd before you let them fight...this happened me last week 2...but thats the only way for sure they wont get greedy and go for 1st

teal basically fought a 2v1, except danny didnt realize he should help brown against teal, once he stacked against teal. oh well. danny, always always always seek out flags from everyone. never assume people will be proper, because some people out there would rather have points than be "proper". |

at 7:07 PM, Thursday February 24, 2011 EST agree with monte, also don't accept flags if they put you in precarious positions...or put a stipulation with the flag "i accept brown's flag if he helps me out later" etc. Make sure to be big enough so that you can crush opposition later, also is good for your dom which is a big part of your score, potentially 40-50% of your score.
