Bears Vs. Packers... so who's gonna win the NFC title?

I'm a Bears fan and I always have been. I was asked by a business associate about 6 weeks ago who gonna go to the bowl. His thoughts were Saints and Pats. Good guess, but no dice.
During our conversation, I mentioned that the Bears would have a good shot next year(2012) to win the NFC if they kept doing the same good things that have been doing this year. However, I truly didn't expect them to get to the NFC playoff this year, but they did. My business associate laughed at the prospects of the Bears doing anything anytime soon. So guys, is he right? My take on this game is like this... if the Bears figure out how to cover the precision "10 yard out" passes that Rogers throws in blitz situations, the Bears will win hands down. Pressure on Rogers means Packer go home. But if the Bears can't effectively pressure Rogers, well, game over, Packers win. The only other hope for the Bears is if their special teams show up big to off-set Roger's "cannon-arm touchdown barrage". The other big factor is geting inside of Cutler's head. If he does not play 4 quarters competently, we will see 3+ interceptions and Packers win. So the dice are stacked in the Pack's favor. Aside from the player's raw talent, I have hope that the Bear's defensive and offensive coordinators can muster up some great strategies to help lead the Bears to a win. |

Either team in the NFC would destroy the Jets if the Jets happened to get lucky against the Steelers. ... and either the Bears or the Pack's defense will make Rothlesburger scramble like Gurgi trying to get his flaming PGA clan out of his asshole while it's on fire. So the term "ocer-rated is relative, I know. And I do agree that individual players on any team can be over-rated. But lets face it, your only as good as your last game this time of the year. But these any of these final four teams are far from over-rated as a whole. If the Seahawks had "squeaked by", I would have agreed with your comment. |

Green Bay -3.5 At Chicago 43.5 At Pittsburgh -3.5 NY Jets 38.5 OMG want to make some frickin money this weekend? Take Bears over Pack. They will win outright or lose by 1. Either way you win. Jets will get a surprise this time around. Steelers will win by 7+. No brainer. |
