at 3:33 PM, Sunday January 9, 2011 EST If you win, you move one game ahead of whoever finished seventh, 5/6 of a game ahead of whoever finished sixth, etc., divided by the square root of the number of games for each player. So, if you have played 400 games, a win is worth only half as much to you as to a player who has played only 100 games.

This formula is meant to be used with the leaderboard. D2 is the number of games. You can work out the rest from there. |

For the ASR, I try to make it easy to understand and logical. I post the formula whenever I post results so that people can understand where the numbers come from and what they mean.
What's the point of the stats if no one knows what they mean? |
