Ok kdice slaves here's my topic. LUCK. This game is cool, that's why most of us lose precious hours in here everyday but i really think it can be cooler. How? Reducing the importance of the luck. I open this topic with the hope of reciving from all who thinks like me IDEAS. Ideas that can make the strategy and dimplomacy so important that luck couldn't beat them. Change a litle bit the game is what im porpousing. But the first rule for make this happen is that any change we think of shouldn't make the game much "longer". We can't start to complicate things adding a lot of new rules and stuff. The game has to be manteined SIMPLE. Said that, here's the first idea:
Is horrible to loose a 5v2 or any similar battle, so: what about giving +1 or even +2 for every dice more you got than your oponent? For ex: in a 2v1 which result is +3+1 vs +5, this new "rule" would give +1(or even +2! im not sure) to the one who has 1 dice more. what do you think? I hope you guys answer and give ideas, because as i said at the begining the game is cool, but we all can make it COOLER! good luck ;) Post Data: Aleatory start and restacking is kind of frustrating, do you agree? at 9:00 PM, Saturday December 11, 2010 EST defense is also key. everyone has the same luck- yes, you lose games every once in a while because of an early 6v3 loss but you also gain a lot of points from being the 3 in that 6v3 defend.
basically no. luck isn't hurting you any more than it is hurting anyone else. |

In current month i played like 40 games or more and my luck is in this moment 47.9% Appart from the luck that the game counts theres an uncounted luck in restacking, starts, stupidity of the players etc. (in which im specially unlucky) Luck affects in extreme, and i think we can change that. Good luck |

The point is that the game can be funnier and less frustrating reducing the importance of luck and inreasing the importance of strategy and diplomacy, and that CAN be done. Give your opinion in the idea i said in the main: give +1 or even +2 for every 1 more dice you have that your oponent. That would make much less risky the 2v1,3v2,4v3 etc, that would REDUCE the importance of luck. And it will be fair for everyone

Here's my suggestion friend, make a new account. If that isn't as lucky as you'd like it to be make another and so on. It took me a long time until I found an account I liked playing on.
