change the formula. that is an insanely oversimplified step function. make it a continuous function, like x^-0.5 or something (i.e. 1st is 1 pt, 4th is 0.5 pt, 16th is 0.25 pts).

yes goddammit im biased, because i have 4 4ths and 4 5ths, and those are equal to 8 25ths under jurg's step function. i vote we dont play down to Ryans trophy colors, but actually use a meaningful continuous function. sorta like how asr>tazd.

That makes sense monte. I could just do 101-place for points though (-> 100 for first, 1 for 100th). A 16th shouldn't be worth only 2.5x 100th. I'll play with the numbers (and read other suggestions) after I finish my comm paper.

I am very much in favor of the fuction modification, only if I had know that in the past I should not have stopped playing so often when my blue was safe :P

oh and I almost forgot,I stopped doing those medal counts because it was a lot of work (with the alts) but mainly because Shevar didn't give me the + he promised me once for doing it

looking back all these months later, maybe he was too high at that time to remember :P

so do it that way chloe 100 pts for firs one point for 100th, that will be more accurate :)

i dont like chloes linear scale. that means that two 50ths equals one 1st. imho it should be exponential somehow. i still like ^-0.5

1 1st = 2 4ths = 4 16ths = 10 100ths

I got all the basic info still in a spreadsheet although I only retrieved the top3, blue , white info from it before.

I think I found a way and might try in the weekend but I wonder if excel will be able to handle that many formula's for like 1000 accounts at once
