... but Thrax earns the second highest multiplier of all time. The record is 2.33, and Thrax had 2.27 this month. Nice percentage profile, with a RIDICULOUS 43% firsts. This is the highest first place percentage of all time. The old record belonged to unlucky9999 who earned 39% firsts in June of 2008.
When I say 'all time' I mean post-ELO. ELO era month archives are inaccessible.

The asr is calculated as follows:
((games*PPG)(4*1st percentage+3*2nd+2*3rd+4th-5th-2*7th)/100)+(games/25)
35 games are required.

The asr is calculated as follows:
((games*PPG)(4*1st percentage+3*2nd+2*3rd+4th-5th-2*7th)/100)+(games/25)

Shouldn't that be -6th and not -5th. Also I can't replicate your numbers when I open my profile and use my stats. I get 1001.19 for me based on your formula. Is the games bonus supposed to be calculated in with the multiplier? Because your order of operations shows it as a stand alone.

You're right- it should be -6th, Kehoe. I also forgot the /100 term in my calculations this month. This is what I get for starting a new spreadsheet... It'll also need to be corrected in the other spreadsheet I just posted.

The games 'bonus' should be a stand alone. ((Games*PPG)(Multiplier)/100)+(games/25)

I'll post corrected stats in a few. The rankings shouldn't change much. Sorry about the snafu.

Also helpful information: I use the percentage as a decimal in my calculations.

Very cool chloe, I have a question though why is it that I usually do better on the your ASR than I do on Skrum's TAZD
superxchloe wrote

The TAZD measures deviation (in either direction) from a set of standard 'expected' values for each place and is weighted by the square root of the number of games played. The ASR is based on table points weighted by your percentage profile, with a small bonus for the number games you've played. Because you have a large number of table points, your ASR is large. The TAZD is (purposefully) completely independent of the points earned in any given month, and encourages playing by weighting scores. The ASR encourages playing by awarding players who have lots of table points, or a high PPG over a large number of games (and with the small bonus).
While people compare the two stats frequently, I don't think it's completely fair to say one is better than the other since they are different measurements. It may be more fair to measure the unweighted TAZD against the multiplier in the ASR. Comparing the two isn't apples and oranges, but it's probably more like red delicious vs. granny smith.
