Alright, so in most instances, a 5v8=win. After some confusion in a tourney, should we clarify all this stuff?
1) Does the 5v8 need to be called out? For example, if it was me calling it. aismo: 5v8? 2) Does it need to happen at a certain time of the game? Usually is seems its a last ditch effort when two people are gridlocked fighting 8v8, or towards the end of the game. 3) If its vs. and opponent for say 3rd place, do they automatically beat the opponent, or are they automatically first place? Usually you get confirmation (aismo: 5v8? otherplayer: go) and whatnot. But what if someone just happens to win when they are seemingly suiciding an unattached stack in the middle of the game? |

at 8:03 PM, Saturday November 20, 2010 EST Usually I see people call them out, but if it happened to me, I'd honor it regardless of the circumstance. I seen a 4v8 happen earlier while I was in first on my alt, nodice was the one to do it and I instantly gave him first. He did it by accident, killing someone while trying to suicide into them.
I believe the 5v8 can happen at anytime, although people only try to do it if they have nothing else to lose. I think if they did it to someone in 3rd like they said, that that person should place under them. I'm not entirely sure how 5v8 should be dealt with personally, but that's just what I would do. Great forum topic :D |

8v8, 7v8, 6v8, 5v8s are damn cool. Just 5v8 cool but not as much. |
