The Fighting Fins just proposed this deal. Heres situation 'fins are 8-1 , 3 games in front of 3 teams at 4-4 with 3 games to go. Virtually a lock to be in playoffs, so regular season matters not anymore except for playoff seeding where I have a large 86 point lead over second.
12 man non PPR league, trading with someone from other division 1 game back of 2nd there at 5-4(he needs to win games now, and worry about playoffs later) I trade Knowshown Moreno, Brandon Jacobs, Dez Bryant and Sid Rice(coming off Pup list next week) for Chris Johnson and Kenny Britt(out until FF playoffs at least but if back has great matchups) For a 12 team roster that would give me QB: Orton (#5 overall) RB: C Johnson (#4 tie) RB: P Hillis (#4 tie) RB/WR: R Mendenhall (#8) WR: C Johnson (#5) WR: M Williams (TB style) (#9) TE: A Gates (#1) D/ST: Jets (#9 but getting healthy and will be top 3) K: Janokowski (#1) I would have also have on bench; TE: M Lewis (#3) WR: K Britt (#7) Rb: M Tolbert (#16) WR: D Bess (#36) I'm picking up Josh freeman off waivers this week unless claimed ahead of me. He is steady 13-20 point player and all need with the rest of the fire power. What ya think? I see champion on this team. The dusty old farts are 7-1 in 8 weeks also most points but are a bot scary as matchups have helped record more than dominance |

at 7:54 PM, Tuesday November 9, 2010 EST I'm always a fan of when you have a chokehold on the regular season to trade depth for talent. Barring injury, those guys aren't going to crack your starting lineup, but CJ will make a big difference.
Knowshown isnt putting up big #s, Bradshaw is now getting goal-line carries for the Giants, Bryant is mediocre... you're not going to miss any of those guys. Britt has the ability to put up 40, but is streaky and now sharing targets with Moss-- I'd see if you could get a comparable receiver in the trade. |

at 8:46 PM, Tuesday November 9, 2010 EST yes yes yes. standard pu-pu platter trade, which always favors the guy who gets the quality over the quantity. moreno wont do much since denver is a pass-always team, like lj said, bradshaw has the goalline carries now, so jacobs is worthless, and who knows how well rice can play when he eventually comes back. it does hurt to give up bryant, he is going to be special now that kitna has realized that his best bet is to just chuck it up to that manbeast instead of try to work it into miles austin while austin is busy smiling at cameras and signing autographs. meanwhile, cj will give you consistency and a high level of talent. sadly, i bet britt is done for the season due to how secretive the titans are being about him (i'm a titans fan and it pains me to admit this.)

at 8:35 AM, Wednesday November 10, 2010 EST He hasn't bit yet, but other league I got trade accepted to get Chris Johnson.
I send Hines Ward and Aaron Rodgers for Chris Johnson. He gets good deal, but I like Mark Sanchez's matchups during 2 playoff weeks. NE and Mia who he scored 25 and 35 FF points versus in early matchups. Both will be cold weather games however. Rodgers has Det and SF. He scored 19 vs detroit the first time and that defensive line is starting to be nasty. I will pick up off waivers Vince Young, who gets the Texas(32nd past defense and Indy) Playoff lineup would be: QB: Sanchez or Young (not sexy but good matchups) RB: P Hillis RB: C Johnson WR/RB: Rice/Britt/Greene/M Thomas/Tolbert WR: Roddy White WR: S Rice or K Britt (whoever is healthy) TE: A Gates D: Chicago K: Bironas Dont know if thats a championship team or not, but lots of players capable of being top 5 scorers any given week in Gates, C Johnson, K Britt, S rice, and R White |
