And I also agree, Obama has passed A LOT of legislation thanks to overwhelming majorities in both branches of Congress. Some of it is actually good stuff. Unfortunately, he has sucked at creating jobs and won't make the big decisions on cutting spending. He won't have that luxury anymore.

All in all, it was a good day yesterday. Shame I live in one of the two democrat controlled House districts in Virginia. :(

A 60 seat swing in the House hasn't happened since before my Dad was born. This was not your typical midterm swoon.

last time this large a swing happened in a midterm election: 1938, GOP gained 72 seats.
last time this large a swing happened, period: 1948, Dems gained 75 seats.

Third, eighth, and eleventh. I'm annoyed that Connolly won by ~900 votes, though the other two democratic seats from Virginia were strong majorities.

Last I checked the third race hadn't been decided yet, so I was still hopeful. Thanks for dashing my hopes chloe...
