So, I read something about a 15k point funnel. Apparently, some people are pretty pissed.

I entered the tourney trying to get top 100. I didn't really care about winning, so much as getting in the points.

For me, where I place 26-100 is pretty meaningless. I had what I wanted. And, I had no intention of stringing it out, playing until the last game of the month, trying to get to top 25.

Ji-jo asked me if I was going for top 25. I told him no. He said he was. We were the last two playing in the Final 1k. I thought it would be pretty silly for me to stomp him and ruin his dreams of getting top 25. I also knew winning the tourney wouldn't, by itself, get him there either. He would have to keep playing to get what he wanted.

So I, in effect, just ended my month. Instead of snagging around 15k, I got 9.5k for 2nd.

That's what happened. It wasn't a PGA situation. I had no plans of doing this before I did it.

If my decision calls for a ban, I understand, since what I did was technically wrong. I just think it's funny because my intention was to NOT act like an asshole in this situation.
