No one really cares who wins the month outside of the person who is going to win the month.

We all would like a more legitimate competition but the game has evolved beyond the point where that is possible. It isn't overt cheating, us mods do our best to dissuade that, but their is and always has been a pervasive culture of favoritism amongst the elite.

You want a different culture, play differently and advocate for others to do the same. Don't vflag all the time, don't accept flags all the time. Go for first not 3rd, don't sit in a corner wasting dom to take 5th instead of 6/7.

On Sam's point, I feel that amongst us players, there are myriad views of how this game should be played. The veteran players (of which I am not) think the game is played one way (because they have seen what it evolved from), the newer players think it is played another (v-flagging and such).

It is difficult to make progress creating one way the game should be played/viewed. This becomes extremely difficult when there isn't any easily accessible literature for players to reference and learn from (only a forum without a search function).

We need to figure out a way to get players on the same page, so we don't have blurry ideas on things such as "PGA".(which is extremely hard to define)

there should be another kdice site like factiondice or something idk where its all teams and pga is legal that way people who want to play the real way come here the ones who want to play like a team deathmatch style game can go there

you could play kdice normal until you found people to be on a team with, then play team kdice. its in everyones best interest to win so its fair.

the only HUGE problem with this is time (like time the team would play at). with the amount of people that play, you'd end up having a crappy team structure.

We've been asking Ryan for a team-based game for years. Keep the good ideas coming, but don't hold your breath.
