while I don't disagree that this kind of harassment is wrong, if you don't want attention like that then make your picture something completely unprovocative.

Everyone can display whatever picture they like, they should not be subject to harassment because of it. I have changed my picture, but that does not excuse what this man did, particularly to a minor.

Rowen, I appreciate your position and your concern; however, I will not moderate based off of chatlogs posted to a forum. I can offer you two suggestions, one of which is easy, the other of which probably won't happen:

1: Use a function that allows a player to "mute" other players so as to not see any chat from that particular player. It can be established by typing /mute playername. For instance, if you wanted to mute me at a table, you would type the following:

Rowen: /mute KDICEMOD

This will block your view of anything that player types while at the table with you.

2: Find a mod and ask them to come watch you play a game with this guy. If he gets caught, he will get banned.


I'm not in the habit of banning people based on accusations on a forum. It isn't provable that you are a minor, nor is it provable that wareham is 38, or male. I'm sorry if you have felt slighted by this person's disparaging comments. Try these other two methods, especially the "mute" function.

so i know everyone looooves asking Ryan to code shit like 2 player tables/tables w/ no chat/team games, but i'm pretty sure it would take Ryan less 5 mins to set up the code to log chats/actions during games so that mods could access them.

and if he's worried about the space it would eventually take up, games that no one reports shit could be deleted after x days. kinda like how ghetto-ass bodega convenience stores reuse their security tapes every 7 days if nothing happened in that time period.

and Rowen, you put yourself in that position-- if you don't want people commenting on your looks, don't post a pic of yourself.
