This month I have more luck than ever. Well at least that is the fact according to the stats. The starts and the rolling is as shitty as ever, only now the luck-stats are higher. I never saw so many games finishing close to 60% luck...
So, has the computation of "luck" been changed from bad to worse in order to get closer to the 50% average by just adding 2 digits to every result??? I'd like to hear your impression on this. |

Maybe somebody from the social sciences wants to write an assay about the degradation of communicative skills in dying cultures... There could be an ever increasing amount of quite obvious evidence in this forum. |

at 8:55 AM, Wednesday September 23, 2009 EDT I don't think that there is a trend towards 50%. If you look at the values in your career stats, u can see that you had "high" luck values before: : October and November 2008 = 49.9, May 2009 = 50%.
Just one question: Is the "starting position" involved in the computation of luck, or is only the outcomes of the attacks/defenses during the game? |

at 10:18 AM, Wednesday September 23, 2009 EDT My luck is higher this month. This may be partly due to my sitting as purple more often (deliberately selecting purple) to test NoTruces' color hypothesis. I was briefly on the luck leaderboard with 51.3%. Luck is sensitive to winning at long odds (4 v 6 for example). A way of having a shot at a high luck stat is to make more long-odds attacks. Then stop when you win one.
