Curse 3.0?

It's not that individual players are selectedly cursed, but new players are blessed. New players have a distinct rolling advantage over veterans. Since these new players stay at the lower tables, there is no discernible problem at the larger tables. But try getting out of the <500 area playing only new players with curse 3.0, you're stuck in hell.

Maybe this is just an evil scheme to sell more memberships and their +2500 bonus.

Discuss.

yep, there is something really wrong with luck.

Just look at this account. I got the best luck ever, but the luck average on my stats page says it's somewhere around 48%.

wellz

from someone who creates lots of random alts, yeah its true, youre blessed for like the first couple of weeks of play. i mean, its a smart move by ryan if he did it, who would want to continue playing a game where they continually lost +2 rolls?

but if there's no such thing, then cappy may just be having a case of the first of the month blues

Good explanation... if ryan can do curses, i guess he can also do luck boosts for newbies.

So when someone new joins the game, he/she will get awesome luck and wins more games than they actually should, which makes them stay long enough to become addicted to the game.

And as soon as they are addicted (which usually already happens after a few days) their luck goes back to normal and they become part of the system.

Very witty Ryan, very witty!!

Can anybody explain how Big Jumblies is having this incredible bad luck any month? I mean - I don't feel too lucky myself, but those numbers are WAY out of line.

If there is a story to it, I'd like to know it. And I'd like to have it "fixed" - this is insane.

no question - tracked my numbers (from my main account, not this one) last month to confirm it - found the interesting added effect (along with my crap luck lately) that the lower the table (0,100,500) the worse my luck was, which can be explained by your theory (more new folks at the lower tables.)

When you note how may active accounts actually play (look at the rankings of a 1-49 score after the first few days) it's clear that Ryan needs to get more folks here - he doesn't have the critical mass to support good ad revenue (though I doubt he gets credit for the amount of time we spend staring at these crap "evony" ads, far more than the average web surfer does, which is a shame.) Unfortunately screwing the long time players who could actually bring folks in is absolutely the wrong way to go about doing it.

Any before one of his defenders (or alts) writes back about how our luck % aren't bad, can it - the luck % never made a lot of sense, and he can (and appears to be) just as easily cook that was he is the rolls.

Actually its a great idea to boost newbie luck, however, it might backfire because after their newbie luck ends they might feel like they are cursed because they're not getting the same results which will frustrate them and maybe make them leave...

The veterans here have enjoyed the game for quite a while and should be clicking on the ads every once in a while. They do nothing for Ryan unless someone clicks them.
