POWER TRIP: KDICEMOD

I don't mean to be a whistle blower, but it seems to be like Thrax--KDICEMOD has been on a power trip recently. It would be nice if there was maybe someone else (or multiple people) that could check and balance the moderation on the site. If anyone even looks at the Advisor Log you can see how there is always little or no real justification for the actions a moderator has taken.

So, in an effort to not sound like I'm just complaining for complaining's sake I would like to offer my solution: which would be to ordain a few more moderators, maybe 1-2 more that could handle different times of the day.

This is really up to Ryan, but I know there are plenty of capable and even better equipped KDicers than KMOD to moderate this site.

Cheers,
KdicePatrol

A group of people that can be reached and listen to the people. A group that sets rules and sticks to them.

maybe a mod for different levels of play, where you work your way up with good reviews and practice. like an official for any sport.

for example, you start at the 0 tables and after you have done a good job, could get promoted to the 100's. given long enough the best mods that are most trustworthy and respected would be able to mod the 5ks and big tourneys, etc

HandShake, there's a problem with that. If you win a game and you have to kill somebody to get that win, you get a negative reviews.

If you kill somebody in a fight, you get a bad review.

If you kill one player and not another player because you don't want to 1v2 you get accused of PGA, and a bad review.

Reviews in this game mean nothing. End of.

okay, well then lets fix the merit system for the mods.

mods start on 0 tables and are voted on by the community at large and by other mods. lets say with a weighted ratio of 33% community, 66% other mods. that way the 0, 100 and 500 tables are less dependent on user reviews

the 2k and 5k would be the opposite, with 66% of the weight going to users and 33% going to other mods.

this may not be the best system but its a start

i would think the current mods might chime in and give their input.
