Flagging is:
* begging for mercy * accepting a place under person flagged to * ignoring each other for rest of game * not sharing points * not assisting unless convenient * when crap happens, expect flags to be ignored * people expect battle to be over between flaggers, except to protect position Trucing is: * mutual agreement not to attack each other * assisting each other is optional * not sharing points or lands * not covering each others ass Alliance is: * working together as one huge army * ass-covering and protecting each other * sharing points * wiping the map of all others * alliance lasts till end of game, no matter what Alliance deeper than truce Truce over flag Flags are kinda desperate and annoying Comments and thoughts? |

at 6:09 AM, Monday May 25, 2009 EDT I don't think truces and alliances have substantial differences. Truces, unlike alliances, sometimes give you the option to fight with your partner for 1st after you have secured 1-2(granted your partner agrees of course:p), but that's it. Sooner or later you will have to work as a team and do some ass-covering if you want your truce to be victorious. Also, If you ingnore flags when things get tough will not make you very popular with other people. Other than that, I think this would be a very informative for new players. I had to learn about these stuff by call and response. Perhaps there should be a section about kdice etiquette in the faq?
