3 fakes account created with my name...

B) This isn't my "job". I do this as a service to try and make things a little better around here. It's my FREE time, so don't complain about what I am or am not doing.

It should be possible to modify the newer accounts, that chose a name, that, unfortunately and most certainly unintended, can be mistaken for an older account.

The moderators could change the irritating large "i" to small ones ore change the confusing small "L" to large ones. The name basically is not changed, the meaning it had to the player not taken - but the chance of mistaking it for somebody else is removed.

Players can't change there names after creating the account (I think that is good), but if you have access to the database that should not be a problem.

This way nobody has to be banned, nobody gets prejudiced for having bad intentions and nobodies reputation can be subverted.

how about just using a different font?

Maybe just dont use l or i in your nick?

can fonts be changed by the browser? I really don't know and am to lazy to look it up...

Kam - that is a nice idea, but how would you do it for that account you've been using since 2007? Those are the ones to protect and treasure - nobody really cares for a 2009 account.
