Forced Resigns...what causes them?

I was sitting letting red and blue fight it out for 2nd earlier - blue had already flagged second and was killing red, who had verbally flagged to me.
When red dropped down to 3 countries, the game game gave me a forced resign and red first place...which seems a bit silly |

at 11:55 AM, Monday May 11, 2009 EDT nope... maybe you missed one turn, than you automatically sit out. if you dont press "sit in" the next three rounds, you get a forced resign.
its not silly, otherwise people need to wait or kill someone, who just lagged out, which can actually take quite alot of time. mfg me p.s.: just watch for that small "away" in future, and press "sit in" ;> |

at 12:30 PM, Monday May 11, 2009 EDT well i was sitting there pressing end turn every time, i just wasn't attacking. I'm supposed to attack one of the other two every three turns while they fight out for second?

you sure you didn't just lag out ? |
