So I'm in this game. Naturally, I take first like the champ I am. 2nd/3rd decide to truce. I counter with 4th. 5th is in a corner building and doesn't take sides. 4th, my countertruce partner, dies a pretty quick death but I keep a stack alive inside my own territory. I take out 2nd/3rd and they flag, admitting their total destruction at the hands of my dice army.
5th, who has been building and is now in a healthy position to take on the weakened and previous 2nd, declares that he, too, is now in on the counter truce. At this point they have a 7/4 territory ratio, with previous 2nd leading. previous 3rd, down to 2 territories, flags 3rd at some point. I try to destroy him before 5th dies. I fail. Both sides are pissed no matter my actions. What would have been the proper way to handle this situation? |

at 2:36 AM, Saturday April 18, 2009 EDT I think the most fair solution would be to let "5th" decide whether he want to fight for third or for second, and then not allowing the two players to team up on him. As it sounds like you did.
I myself might try to kill the 2nd and 3rd first, if it was a specific truce against me. |
