0 level tables are somehow harder than 500 and 2000

So I spent most of the past week or so playing at 500 and 2000 tables but yesterday and today I had a run of a combination of bad luck and poor play that lost me tons of points. So I ended up playing a bunch of 0 and 100 level games. These games were so difficult because of the complete lack of sense that most players have at these tables. It was ridiculous the amount of games I played where a guy would get stretched all the way across the board and be super weak but would get left alone. I'd be sitting there thinking someone will surely take this guy down a notch and then player after player retreats. It was absolutely bewildering. Anyway, just wanted to see if other players had encountered this same sort of trouble when making the transition from high tables to low tables.

at 3:19 AM, Tuesday March 31, 2009 EDT Why are they harder? Shouldnt it be easier for the mighty 500 and 2k table players if 0 level players ("most" players in your words) have a "complete lack of sense"? Why should this be any "trouble" for you? But thanks providing 0 levels players (like me...) with tags like "complete lack of sense","bewildering", "ridiculous", "trouble" etc. Surely the games were completely different when you experienced your "combination of bad luck and poor play" at the higher lvl tables...

at 5:20 AM, Tuesday March 31, 2009 EDT To some degree I agree with the fact, that quite often a distinct lack of strategic gameplay can be observed at the lower tables.
However, one of the major problems for "high-table-players" at the lower levels is, that they don't know the others. Thus they do not know the styles of playing and the relationships that might exist. At 2k or 5k all know each other and know what will happen. At 0 or 100 you have a high degree of uncertainty who will be less likely of attacking whom.... |

at 7:43 AM, Tuesday March 31, 2009 EDT Can somebody explain to me why the 500 tables seem to be a lot trickier to me than the 2,000 tables? Maybe I am a very social player (even though I almost never truce), or maybe I can deal better with less erratic game playing? Or do I capitalize on other people's fears to lose 1,000 points if they do the wrong thing? Sorry guys, my head spins. Or is it the propeller? How am I to know whether my head or my propeller is spinning?
