There is a player (riccardo?) whose avatar shows someone winning as red with only one territory. Don't know if its real or not.

That's what made me think of this. I want to know what happened and if any others have done similar.

I've seen the one territory win happen a couple times.

Usually it's because that person is the only one not yet flagged since they're trying for a higher spot, and then for whatever reason 1st lags out which means everyone else vanishes, and so the only one left on the board is the unflagged one stack.

I've also been the person to be smack in the middle and get a 8 stack in round two because of a lucky build, and next thing I know everyone around me vflags to make sure I don't go in their direction.

Undeserved wins, both of them...but I'll take them.

In one game on one little map I ended 2nd with only 4 not connected teritories for the whole game (others were even even worse!), and winner had only 1 land! Because the strongest player started to farm from everyone and all were flagged, so there was revenge and the strongest player lost, and only one player that was unflagged and weakest - won. That was really strange and funny game. :-)

I've seen 1 territory take first on at least 3 occassions, and it always has to do with people flagging incorrectly.

I got 1st when I truced, got taken down to 1 territory, my truce stepped in and killed everyone, then left for no reason. Was an interesting game.

I think I had 5 or 6 because people lagged out or went to a tourney

i won 1st with only 2 territories, i was across the map from 1st place ,SG and everyone in the middle was fighting for 3rd. then 2nd place lagged out and i got extremely lucky on SG.
