This is a cutout from an communicaions between an amerian Navalship and canadian coastoffice, wich happened in the shores of Newfoundland.
Americans: „Please change ur route 15 degree to north to avoid a collision.“ Canadians: „I suggest, that u change UR route 15 degrees to south to avoid a collision.“ Americans: „this is the captains of the Naval Forces. I repeat: change ur route.“ Canadians: „No. I say it again: U change ur route.“ Americans: „This is the Aircraftcarrier „USS LINCOLN“, second biggest ship in the Atlantic fleet of the United States. We are accompanied by 3 destroyers, 3 cruisers and several supporting ships. I immediatly request, that u change ur route 15 degrees to north, that is one five north, DO IT, or countermeasures will be taken to assure this ships safety.“ Canadians: "This is a Lighttower.
